3. BRIDAL VEIL FALLS
This is the commonest name for a waterfall in the world. The Bridal Veil can be seen falling in countries such as Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand, France and Norway, to name but a few. Our Bridal Veil Falls, which is approximately 6 km from the tranquil and attractive town of Sabie in Mpumalanga, is taller and by far grander than its overseas namesakes. The waterfall resembles a bridal veil and roars down from a great height of 146 metres. It is situated just outside Sabie and is accessible by car, with parking and picnic area on SAFCOL’s grounds. From there an easy footpath runs through bush scenery for about one kilometre directly to the waterfall.
